I was checking out another movie forum website where Bill from Code Red mentioned this is coming to Blu Ray

Unless I read that wrong,XT Video is releasing it over seas.now I have several of their releases and I don't think their botlegged(with the exception of my Phantasm Collection).if it is finally released on blu in the states then I will definitely be picking it up.

You read it wrong - well sort of, XT is, but its a bootleg and if you read the first Code Red comment Bill says he is releasing it (its in Bold ! )

Not that I am complaining because I love Nightmare but wasn't this one of the titles Bill was disappointed in when it came to the DVD sales? I don't understand why he would want to release it on blu if that was the case. Again not complaining, the movie kicks *ss.

Been dying to see NIGHTMARE for a while now. Too much on Ebay for the dvd. Will def hold out for the blu.

I'm in. This bodes well for other Code Red titles coming to the format. RITUALS comes to mind.

He was surprised that the double feature of VAMPIRES NIGHT ORGY & DR. JEKYLL VS THE WEREWOLF sold as well as it did, as I recall.

No wonder. It had barely been out, what, a couple of weeks before he had to press another batch. Don't underestimate the power of Naschy!

I can understand that he has been reluctant to venture into BD. The minimum order AFAIK is 1,000 units for BD and only 300 for DVD, and if many of his releases don't even sell the latter, then a BD might just be money out of his pocket. Plus there's the fact that a lot of the pictures he deals in don't have material up to snuff for a BD release. Hell, there have been a lot of complaints about the PQ of his DVD releases over the years, despite the fact that the only material left in existence might be some battered old theatrical print or even just a tape.

I hope he does well with BD. I would definitely upgrade Nightmare.

Well Code Red (Bill) has been saying he's releasing this on blu and that on blu for the pass year or so and nothing has come out yet. Believe me if he does release bly-rays I'm buying for sure. He does good work. So when I see a blu-ray release on his store front then I'll sure believe it.
