I'm going to pick up Nacho Libre for sure. I kinda want Reds, but I'm not sure I understand what its about.

I got Nacho last week and I'll pick up Red this week. I'm not voting till I get the ProvenFlipper confirm on the Soprano's yes or no, just in case. Don't want a repeat of last week's poll

I hate that we only have 3 releases this week. Of course, that just gives me the opportunity to save up for next week.

Reds for me. I've been warned to stay away from Nacho Libre.

The first pseudo-anime release in Project PAPO. It's one of their web based anime series, very short but complete on a single disc. The first "true" anime release is Brave Story later this month. Both of these are unsubbed. Brave Story in particular sucks because the DVD release IS subtitled.

I expect a full review with 1080 x 1920 screen captures and Chris wisdom

No subtitles at all?

Paramount titles seem to have a problem showing up in Amazon. I found the Nacho Libre BD in my local Suncoast store last week if that helps.

I don't know if it's really 1080 or not yet; the web version was supposed 720p but the source could be higher. Depends on when they animated it whether they optimized for long term or short term. So many unknowns and it's hard to find out since 99% of the info is in Japanese.

I've got a couple hundred word vocabulary but nothing that will aid me in really watching and understanding a show. That said, I grew up in my early teens by watching raw anime shows and reading summaries so doing it again isn't a stretch. For these first two releases, I'm looking at them more from a technical perspective. The 12/6 release of Ghost in the Shell 2 will have subtitles, plus I've seen it, so it'll be a more full review.

j/k,

really i'd love to see the robotech stuff remastered for HD. I know they remastered it for DVD but I don't know what resolution the masters are in now.

I looked at the secret decoder ring wth 157 Amazon Blu-ray titles including Paramount's:

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_st/00...erank&x=9&y=10

But nope, no nachos.

They must be waiting forr melted cheese

Apart from the Suncoast stores, here's a few other online places that have it, even on the UK:

I'll be renting Little Man. Seems very dumb but I tend to like movies where I can just kick back and relax and have a good laugh once in awhile.
