I know next to nothing about this character- didn't even know he existed till I was checking out a video on this year's NY Toy Fair. Movie does look like something I'd like, so I'll blind buy this once it's out on BD. The artwork is ok.
Think I'll buy some of the comics to get a few for character and story.

Start with the run from the early '10s. The '90s stuff is super dated.

Start with the 2012 version and then read "The Valiant" it's basically
a Bloodshot story that leads into a fantastic Jeff Lemier run in Bloodshot Reborn

Too bad it's not the unrated/uncut version, which they probably would've released had the neutered, cinema-friendly version been allowed to make more bank at the BO.

Both the standard Blu-ray and 4K UHD still say 5/5 so I'm assuming it still comes out on Tuesday. I'm hoping this isn't another steelbook cancellation at the last minute for Best Buy exclusive release day. I remember another movie last year had something like that happen.

Looks like all May 5th steelbooks went to TBA. Incredible Hulk and 47 Ronin also did the same thing.
