I ordered a Blu-ray set from Gruv last week and one of the discs has some noticeable hairline scratches. I received it last Monday but won't be able to begin watching it until this weekend. So I'm nervous that the scratched discs might have playback problems. And if it does, I'm wondering if I can ask Gruv to just take it back and refund my money, as I believe the chances of my getting a perfect replacement is slim due to poor quality control at the plant.
Per Gruv's return policy, they state this- If your item has arrived damaged or is faulty, we will make this right as soon as possible, either by sending a replacement item to you or refunding your account. If we ask for the item to be returned to us, then GRUV.com will pay for the cost of the return via a pre-paid label. In the unlikely event that your order is received damaged or faulty, all you need to do is contact us and we will provide the relevant returns information. Has anyone tried returning a scratched/defective BD to Gruv for full refund? Or are they strict about this and only provide exchanges? |
