Default Dolby TrueHD is not very good.

You know, I've really become unimpressed with Dolby TrueHD 5.1 tracks. I really find them to be lacking in detailed surround and LFE effects compared with PCM and even the lossy core of DTSHD tracks, IN GENERAL. I've been really disappointed in those movies with Dolby TrueHD tracks, both on BD and HDDVD. Perhaps it's a hardware issue, but I really find it hard to differentiate between the DDTHD and DD+ tracks. This may be another one of those points that makes the HDDVD fans think that true high definition sound does not matter that much, and can stand to explain much of the strategy of the HDDVD. If I don't sense much of a difference with my equipment, then I will believe the FUD that is being spread. All it does is make me wish every movie came with a PCM track.
