Hell yes please. That is lovely looking steel. Alreadty got a region A disc too so doesn't even matter if it's region locked.

But the question is, will this Anime Ltd. release just be a repackaging of the Manga UK release or will it be an all-new disc?
If it's an all-new disc, I really hope it has the ADV dub.

I know the Aussie Blu-ray is unique since it has Voices of a Distant Star included even if it was packaged with The Place Promised in Our Early Days in the UK.

I love this movie! But I’m not sure I love this steelbook. The spine is weird, and the image chosen for the cover isn’t what comes to mind when I think of this movie.

Maybe I’m just used to the US cover art:

Years ago I bought the international Japan version with the English dub. The dub on that was a lackluster DD.5.1 if I recall correctly.

Would be nice if it was 4k as that would justify the upgrade. For 40 notes that's quite steep for a standard Blu ray even if the OST is included.

Received mine today. Now I have the Japanese and the UK versions of the movies. Will be interested to see how they compare.

My copy finally arrived. Took a little bit extra time bit it is a beauty of a steel. Has a nice zero finish to it so parts have a nice shine while not being a fingerprint magnet. The soundtrack is a nice addition. BD is region locked but have US release so just switched them.
