I guess the game is in the early stages of development and they just threw something together in a hurry to show that they're working on it.

I'd bet good money on this, the only maps they seem to have are the classroom and the street and they only have Yu's character model running around. This is probably gonna be a 2027 release at the earliest.

I'm sure they're at a more advanced stage than this. Keep in mind they're probably using the models from Persona 4: Dancing All Night. Personally, I'm hoping for a release by the end of next year. Of all the Personas, this is my favorite.

I think that's really optimistic given they don't even specify a release year in the trailer. Why not tell people it's out by the end of 2025 if it's that far along? Also, keep in mind P3R only came out last year. Even if they started on P4R the second P3R shipped, that's still just 16 months. For comparison, P3R took almost five years to make.

Without a date, we can only speculate. At least Persona 5: The Phantom X is coming out at the end of this month to satisfy the hunger for more Persona games. I guess in the same year that the remake of the fourth one comes out, a teaser for the sixth one will finally appear.
