Spain Tad the Lost Explorer 2 - The Secret of King Midas 3D Blu-ray (2018) [Spanish only]

Tadeo Jones 2: El secreto del rey Midas 3D Blu-ray

Didn't know about this. I had some fun with the first and my theater has it listed for January 1st. Who knows if it remains?

FYI, apparently, The Hero Returns is the English title.

Awesome! Thanks for posting the info.

The first Tad the Lost Explorer I enjoyed, and while the 3D is a constant mix of medium, mild and high medium, sometimes strong 3D, with pop outs, it's definitely worth seeing in 3D despite the mild 3D moments. It's probably one of the more inconsistent 3D presentations I've seen, but it's native 3D.

3D Fans of Indiana Jones and CGI animation should check it out. I will probably get the sequel on blu ray 3D if it's available in the US.

I am gonna do that today. I really liked the movie. I can't remember much about the 3D, but I believe I remember it being decent. Will report back later.

I never cared for it, but heard he was actually named after Tad Stones, a real-life animator.

That's cool it'll play in your theater. I wonder if it's only 2D? As most limited runs are.

It was entertaining, yes. The story and characters got my attention as well as the adventure they go on. Worst title ever? I don't know about that. Is it because of the name Tad?

Cool. Yes, the 3D is a mix all over the place. Sometimes it's weak, and the very next shot, it's strong 3D. Then medium, then mild, then...

Well, let me be more specific.
Yes, it is listed, but 3D is next to the title.

I watched this again yesterday. I really liked the movie. The story is a mashup of Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider. There were parts of the movie that played out like a video game which I thought was very cool. The 3D shines in this IMO. I thought it was mostly strong throughout with lots of the film protruding out of the screen. I did not notice any in your face pop outs, however the 3D is above average throughout. I watched on a 65" LG 4K TV with HDR.

Kudos to the member who added the 3-D pre-order from Spain.

Yeah, that Spanish release is out now but alas no English audio. Good sign for other regions though.

I prefer 3D animation. Most of my movies are "kid flicks" with a few live action titles ie Hobbit, Marvel Universe and some nature documentaries.

Hubby and I have no kids so I have no excuse except I'm a kid at heart

Good to hear, thanks. If you check it out, looking forward to your 3D report.

Cool. I'm going to put it on top of my blu ray 3D player for this weekend hopefully to watch again in 3D. The animation and story, for low budget, were well done. I like his Tomb Raider Lara Croft style girlfriend also.

I got my 3D Blu-ray from Amazon ES and the 3D looked really awesome. Trying to find subtitle file somewhere.
