Kill Bill 1 & 2 as a single movie?

Tarantino clarified it he sees it as one movie:

“Technically we released it as two movies, and there is a closing and an opening credits [on each movie], but since I made it as one movie and I wrote it as one movie, [it’s one movie].”

It would be cool if Tarantino made a new cut where he'd merge both volumes as one which seems it was his original plan.
