Why haven't they done one yet or Evangelion?
I know Evangelion arguably has been gimped by say Pacific Rim and more so its sequel BUT surely, Gundam Wing has a great Sci fi concept that ties in really well to the current world with environmental and socio political issues to be a meaty source material for adapting and nobody can deny that the Gundam units are generally more than distinct to stand out amongst all the cannon fodder suits we see in the anime. It would easily get a 12a/ PG-13 rating Imo whilst balancing all the elements. Transformers have already proved popular and box office giants financially. So doing something similar might work quite well. Thoughts? |
