Good afternoon. I imported the UHD of BTATER recently and was very baffled when I looked at the disc label. I hope my attached image is clear enough to show what I mean. On the disc that is ostensibly from America, there is an Asstralian classification label on it. That little square with the sharp shape and letters and numbers in it.
One good reason to import from America is because the censors in other countries are so obtrusive and flat-out desecrating of the artwork in their labelling. It is not the only reason, but it is a good one. So the question coming to my mind is this. Which of these scenarios is likely to be true? Did Fox really put an Asstralian Office Of Film And Literature Classification (yes, really) rating label on a disc intended for Americans? Or has the Asstralian redirection service somehow opened up my disc, taken out the American one, and put an Asstralian one in its place before replacing the shrink wrap? My experience of Asstralians can best be summed up with my leaning towards the latter. Thanks for any advice you can offer. |
