Colony - Seasons 1, 2 & 3 on Blu-ray! - Blu-ray Forum

Not thinking Colony was ever going to be released in Europe, very recently i purchased the Aussies releases of first 2 seasons! Now the show is going to be released in Germany also!

According to Bluray-disc.de (and amazon.de) the first season is to be released on Febr 28th

Colony Seasons 1, 2 & 3 to be released in 2020

Has anyone bought any of the Australian or German seasons? I'd like to, but I'm wondering if either is better than the other.

I have both! First purchased the Australian sets....then the 3rd season was postponed, ordered the 3rd season from amazon.de. Then I found out German sets have English subs, the Australian sets have not. Because Germans sets aren't that expensive, I decided to double dip.

In terms of quality, I only checked a little bit, I think they have the same transfers. What I don't like with the German set is the delayed reponse time with selecting within the menu. For instance selecting the episodes to begin watching. But turns out Australian set does this also. It's not a major issue, but it can be annoying.

Was considering getting the Australian release of Colony, but I may consider getting the German release (there are some other titles released in Germany I want to get). It's not a deal-breaker if there aren't any English subtitles, but it can be good to have them as a bonus.

I checked both sets, Germans and Australian, on the German it definately says 1080p/24, but on the Australian set that info is not mentioned, not to say that it isn't 1080p/24

Little less than 2 months and the German S3 will be released and I finally have the show complete on blu!

Marcel, I know this is off-topic, but this show was discussed about in the Australia sub-forum around the time I found out about it and Colony's Australian releases. Will Timeless be getting a German release as well (two seasons and a two-part Christmas finale)?

I wish I could give you an answer but I don't know, I hope so of course. Australian sets remain somewhat expensive but I will eventually go for it if the price is right. But if there would be a German release I would prefer that also, because it probably will have English subs which I consider handy and also it probably will be in the same price range as Colony, which is not too expensive.

Just pre-ordered Season 3 from Amazon.de for €26 delivered to the UK. Released on October 16th and looking forward to it after an incredibly long wait.

Unfortunately another 2 week delay. Release date is now October 30th. As long as it is being released I'm okay with a few more weeks though.

Today I wish that I would come here and say my copy had arrived but unfortunately this is not the case. I received a mail from Amazon on the day I was suppose to get my copy that there has been a delay in delivery and that they will will do everything to get my copy delivered as fast as possible.

Yes same here. They said they would deliver for free when it’s available and I’m in England but ordered from Amazon Germany. Who knows now? I’m Leaving my order on there because I’m not sure who else you could order from, it seems to be a general unavailability.

cheapest of the 3 items you pick will be FREE

they keep chnaging the promotion all the time with items being included one day and excluded the next to make room for new ones... so better be quick and keep checking
