I ordered Next on Blu ray. I hear it's an awful film but I'm a Cage fan and i wanted to see it so I said why not? Note: this is after watching National Treasure, so I hope it works out. I ordered the Transformers Cartoon on Blu and I was pretty happy with it.

Nicholas Cage is one of those actors that you either like his movies or you don't. I actually like a lot of his movies...including "Next" and National Treasure 1 and 2. It is not for everyone but I enjoyed it. I own it on DVD but will buy it when it comes to Blu ray (US - after Paramount comes back).

Other movies of his I would love to own on Blu are:

Honeymoon in Vegas
Moonstruck
The Family Man
Snake Eyes
It Could Happen to You

I don't know WHY people think its an awful film. It is actually a great film, and has a solid 6.8/10 on imdb. So it's not as widely hated as it may seem. As far as I'm concerned the ending is what made the movie sensational. The plot of the movie throughout was great. Fantastic acting by Nicolas Cage, Julianne Moore, and Jessica Biel in a star studded cast...and you know what? Nic Cage's hair in the movie is not a reason to hate it, and I've heard that as a reason for several people not liking it. The movie was good...in my opinion an 8/10.

I thought this was a red camp only title. How did you get it in blu?

You can get an Import from the UK, for about the same price. No biggy.

I gotta agree with Ben7, I don't understand all the hate for this movie either. I went into it with no expectations, and it really suprised me how good it turned out to be. It really has a unique premise that we haven't seen before. It's got action, intrigue, and suprisingly good performances from everyone involved. It's not going to ever be one of the best moveis ever made, but it's a great popcorn flick that moves at a decent pace and ends on a high note.

I thought it was a pretty decent movie, may not of won an oscar but worth the watch

Not a bad movie until it ends in the middle of the storyline for no reason whatsoever. It's like the director went into the editing room to edit the last 15 minutes of the movie and just said, "You know what? I'm kinda tired. Screw it, let's just go to credits here."

uh, are you kidding?! that is not in any way how it ended! i've heard people say this as a reason they did not like the movie. it is absurd. you clearly did not understand the movie my friend

I watched it over the weekend and enjoyed it quite a bit.

This is no lie, the only movie i have ever watched where at the end, i took the dvd to the nearest store and traded it in the same day i bought it. AWFUL MOVIE.
