Wink Question of fixed re-releases...

Hey all, New to the BD tech. Started my collection and have a question...

I've heard from a friend that there have been problems with earlier releases (PQ or AQ) that have since been fixed and re-released (Full Metal Jacket & Terminator 3 being two I've been reading about).

Can anyone please supply a list of these (defected ?) and or the differences there are in the covers or back info of the fixed BDs so I don't go buying the wrong version.

I'd really appreciate it.

If this topic has come up before please excuse me as I just joined this forum.

Thanks!!

Three I know off the top of my head:

Full Metal Jacket - Old verison's cover has a white background with just a helmet and the words FULL METAL JACKET in big letters. New version has a Marine on the cover with a jungle background. The Amazon listing calls the new version "Deluxe Edition."

The Fifth Element - If it has "Dolby TrueHD" sound listed on the back as a sound option, it's the new one. The new UPC code is 043396215207. The Amazon listing calls the new version "Remastered."

Terminator 3 - Old version was 1080i instead of 1080p. New UPC code is 883929016938.
