United Kingdom Jay & Silent Bob: Reboot

Caught this in the cinema during its very limited screening and loved it but feared the Blu-Ray wouldn’t see the light of day until they had finished the roadshow tour so was very pleased to not only discover it’s getting a nice slip with artcards from HMV but that it will be out in 2 weeks time.

Shame it got such a limited run over here. Got this on order, was pleased to see it's getting more than just a bare bones edition.

Hopefully I can just walk into a store and pick this up on release day. I hope it had lots of extras, nothing listed on the site. At the very least a commentary track.

Seems very light on extras, not even a trailer. Won't stop me from buying.

I assume there is no chance of this in 4k.

There could be more added to that yet as those are just DVD/BD specific extras that were rated back in October, trailers would have been classified earlier and could very well be part of the supplements but given the limit release nature of this film I am actually surprised there is a hours worth of content as that is more than the likes of Disney put on most of their billion dollar earning film releases lol

It's out of stock again, do HMV keep an allocation for each store on release day?

You guys are starting to get me worried now. I had to pre-order it off the website when the Reading branch was announcing its closure. Then when it said it was remaining open and it got all its new stock in, I decided to cancel my pre-order, as I'd rather pick it up in person. I didn't realise it was a limited edition release. Regret cancelling it now.

I am sure more stock will become available online as I don't think its a single production run just the Blu-ray is exclusive to HMV (which might be only be a timed exclusive anyway)

Relieved to have pre-ordered a couple of weeks back. I guess that this has been a strong selling title for HMV.

So went into my local HMV to reserve a copy, and I am not to hopeful. First it came across like I was the first person to ever try to reserve a new release the guy seemed totally confused.

He did look up stock and apparently they are expecting 3 copies, I over heard one of the other sales guys and he said someone else had been in earlier who wanted to reserve one as well.

They took my details (on paper) and said they would put it aside. I fully expect by the time I get there after work for it to be sold out.

I was hoping to have the day relaxing at home tomorrow, but I guess I'm going to have to venture into town to try and reserve a copy.

I've got a horrible feeling that I'm going to miss out on having this film on blu-ray. All because of a stupid mistake I made.

It is being released on Blu-Ray in other Region B territories so there are other options if you can’t get it from HMV.
