icom bd780 -- remote broken

Hey y'all, the title says most of it. My remote for the icom BD780 kicked the bucket, and I haven't had any luck finding replacements for sale online.

Anyone have a spare remote they'd sell me for a reasonable price? Anyone know of replacement remotes currently on the market that are compatible with the icom BD780?

Probably worth seeing if a One For All remote works, but you'd need one with a number pad for the region changing.

Is the an App available?

issue here still not resolved, unfortunately. I ordered a cheap New AK59-00172A Replace Remote Control for Samsung players ($6, worth a try), but no such luck.

The universal remote is a top idea, I've just been looking to see if any one has made it run. Dose the player user guide list the remote codes, so that you can add the player to a universal remote manually?

Patience (and an ebay saved search) has given this thread a happy ending, as a seller finally listed a stand-alone remote for this model, accepted a reasonable best offer, and the (working!) remote has my icom back up and running.
