Lightbulb Which is the best?

Which of the following do you think is the best electronic (based on how the public has reacted to them) made?

A. DVD (standard definition only)

B. Digital camera

C. Digital Camcorder

D. Ipod (doesn't matter what size gig)

NOTE- I said standard def only because if Blu-ray is an option it will be obvious what the answer would be.

I'm going to say D. The iPod. Digi Cams would be second, it seems not many care about camera's, but everyone seems to want an iPod.

that was funny with the "B for Blu-ray," though.

DVD. It is in almost every household and successfully replaced VHS as the movie media standard. Hopefully Blu-ray does the same.

I think this is the obvious answer.

Definitely the iPod. At least for me. If I'm not at home watching movies I need music to keep me sane. The iPod has allowed me to take my entire collection of songs I know I like, without commercials, everywhere I go. Love it.

Unfortunately, the Ipod helped usher in the death of SACD/DVD-A. I've been into MP3's for nearly 10 years now, and had I known the effect they had on CD media as well as superior audio formats like SACD/DVD-A, I would never have touched them. Not that it would have mattered. But in principle, right now I hate MP3.

I would say A. DVD (standard definition only). Like it has been mentioned, virtual every home has a dvd player and no one really buys VHS anymore. the ipod would be a close second, since it is also very popular. Like myself, there are many people who do not own an ipod. If anyone watches a movie today most of the time they watch it on a DVD, not a VHS.

but isn't it true for digital cameras as well? virtual every home (I would almost go to every person) have a digital camera and no one really buys film anymore (I don't think film cameras are even sold anymore)

Of course film cameras are still sold! You might have to go to a specialist camera shop though.
