Default Xbox Live Gold downages, paid by free Arcade game?

I don't know about you guys, but I think if xbox live is down a month, they should give gold members... a free month. Giving people a free arcade game is lame, because a lot of people aren't even going to want it. From their perspective, the game's budget is worth less than all the fees they've collected for the month. From my perspective, I have no interest in Undertow at all and am not going to be able to sell it off, so it's just a totally worthless gesture. For the people who have their only real time off for Christmas and got royally screwed by gold being down when they wanted to play, a free arcade is the least MS could do... while freaking either refunding a partial payment of gold or giving people a free month.

Loyalty? They are paying a subscription, what choice do they have! Loyalty, what a joke.

The tos precludes necessary or required compensation for outages.

The loyalty prize is kinda funny, because I can download it to my 360, because of my Zune account.

I agree.

Why pay $50 a year? I already plunked down hundreds for your console and $60 for games. Not to mention the aggravation associated with one, or even multiple Rings of Death customers have had to endure.

Customer loyalty? As far as I'm concerned I give what I get. Sony gave me a SOLID product built for the long haul and I play online free.

its $4.20 a month i dont get why everyone crys about this...im sure most people spend more on cigs and/or beer week or maybe a day and xboxlive isnt killing you(or is it? lol)...and how much fun do you have smoking a pack of cigs compared to playing other people on live? lol

Actually, I think both would be about as pleasurable for me.

In that they result in a mild sense of nausea and irritability .

But then again, I don't smoke, nor do I particularly like shooters [and sorry, MMO on the Console space hasn't achieved yet ].

Actually, send it in for a free replacement first, then sell or trade the refurbished(likely defective) unit and use the extra cash to buy another ps3 for your special someone... then you'll be doubly blu!

No more RROD, scratched discs, LAWNMOWER(it's a loud), lack of live(has it been fixed yet?), lack of blu-ray!
