Smile I'm going to make a Blu-ray Theater

I'm making a Blu-ray Theater room with Theater seats, Bravia LCD TV and 7.1 Home Theater System. I will update this with pics soon.

I did the same thing. Now I seriously can't stand watching a movie in my living room anymore

Do you have the Bravia already? If not, you might want to consider going the projector route instead. You can get a nice 1080p pj now as cheaply as buying a good LCD, and it makes a world of difference in terms of atmosphere. I made a home-brewed 100" screen for less than $100 and it works great. However you decide to go, enjoy

Humm let see

Front : 800$
Center : 650
Rear : 650
Projector : 1600 (2 years ago)
Screen : 600
Sub : 250 (10 years ago, need to change that)
Bluray player : 500
Receiver : 1600 (Denon 3808)
Cables : 150$

So about 6800$CAD for mine, that doesn't include actual Room cost, paint, and other hardware and additional cost for a 1080p projector and a new sub...

** Prices are what i paid for, not MSRP

I built a Blu Ray theater (though I still watch the occasional DVD now and then)

I got good seats from a local theater that was renovating but had to pull them out of the theater because they were not comfy enough for home use. I put a sofa in there instead.

I may go back to the theater seats,.. I kind of miss them... who knows.

had the same problem with my wife...but i didn't give up on the seats...they are wooden made covered with red leather (real one)...not very comfy but it feels like you're back in the 50's...
