Default Can't decide betweeen plasma and LED

Hey everyone, I need some help deciding between theses two TV's. ONe is plasma and one is LED.

Im looking to buy either http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN55ES.../dp/B007BG54A2

or

http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-PN60E7...+-+7000+series

I heard great reviews on both but i have 46in 1080p LCD and read alot of reviews about the buzzing sound on some plasmas. I mostly watch Blu Rays/ HD content and alot of sports. If anyone has any experience with either or advice, id much appreciate.

Thanks

Is there a reason why one is 55" and the other 60" ? I can't speak for those models but depending on your room (light controlled or not) might make a difference. Plasmas shine in light controlled rooms (dark) where led lcds would be better if you watch where light is present.

If going plasma, Panasonic should also be on your list IMO.

Hope this helps a bit and good luck

We have a 50" Samsung Plasma - no issues at all. We do dim the lights in our viewing area although the screen does not reflect light and it looks just like being at the cinema IMO. When we went looking for our HDTV we actually wanted a plasma because it looked to our eyes the more natural. At the same time we were checking out Panasonic side by side with the Samsung. We went with Samsung. Plasma HDTVs are only limited by the size screen. Next time... in about 4 or 5 years we may look again to get a much larger screen - 70" perhaps and may need to go the LED or LCD. But my money is on Plasma and Samsung at that. Hope this gives you some help.
