So a month or so ago I placed an order for a BD on Amazon. Before I received it the price dropped on it, but it had already shipped, so I placed a new order for it and was going to return one. When they arrived I returned the higher priced one, in a new bubble mailer, just like they ship it.
When I got the refund it was only for 50% of the total. I should have received the total refund, minus $3 for the shipping. I contacted Amazon asking what the deal was. They said they would check on it... they come back saying the item arrived damaged. Quote:
/rant. But on a similar note I would like to know this... I receive 'damaged' (the slip covers anyway) BD's all the time because they use the worthless bubble mailers. Is it just me or does anyone else have a similar problem? I exchange a lot of BD's because the slip is damaged. Sorry but if I'm paying around $20 for a Blu I want a slip cover in good condition. Should I feel guilty for exchanging BD's on a consistent basis because the slip is trashed? I do a little, but it's their choice of packaging that's the problem, although I do understand it's for cost purposes and most people couldn't care less about the condition of it. Am I alone here? |
