Elephant Films is releasing two Marty Feldman films in December.

The Last Remake of Beau Geste (1977)
and In God We Tru$t (1980)

I went to see TLROBG at the pictures when it was first out, 40 years ago...and that may be the last time I ever even thought about it.

Apparently Feldman's original cut wasn't appreciated by the studio, who re-cut it for cinema release. Michael York thinks Feldman's original is far superior.

We can only hope...

I was reading the same thing today.
Such a shame. Feldman was talented. Maybe the negatives are still in one of the vaults waiting to be re-scanned and re-edited.
