Nice but aren’t these just the same discs that are in the 30th anniversary set? Or are they different?

Different since these will be in the original 4:3 format. Not heavily modified in 16:9.

I know for a fact it's the exact same discs as the 30th set, which means they're trash

They’re just rehashing the images from the orange brick DVD sets. Would’ve preferred the nice panoramic scene from the previous BR sets, but I won’t say no to more anime steelies.

I knew it seemed too good to be true. Oh well, I’ll stick to my dragon boxes. Thank god I watched those like a hawk as they were being released and got them right when they hit the shelves and amazon lol
