Default The Incredible Journey (Disney, 1963)

Are there any plans for this movie? I didn't know there was an HD version (for iTunes, Amazon?).

The DVD has been released in 1.78:1 anamorphic and audio is DD 2.0 mono.

It came to my attention that Disney+ made this film available, at least here in Brazil they even put the portuguese dubbing, which I haven't seen in regular TV channels for quite some time.

If this movie exists in HD quality then I don't understand why we haven't seen any effort for a Blu-ray release.

Apparently the 1993 movie (Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey) was never released either.

And the only disc available (from 1993) is in 4:3 (OAR is 1.85:1).

I haven’t seen anything relating to the 1963 original but I can confirm there is a quality, ahem, “alternative” to the 1993 film’s DVD & it’s dirty print/broken aspect ratio.

I just watched a sample from the 1993 version (not sure about the source, either streaming or appeared on TV), in full HD, Widescreen 1.85:1.

It's good, however needs to be improved if it's ever going to be available in physical media.

Here's an idea: release them in a single disc.

I have the re-make on BD but no luck with the original.
