List of UHDs that were released WITHOUT slipcovers - Blu-ray Forum

Having been late to the party in terms of collecting UHDs I have many without slipcovers and have been trying to find them. I know that they don't exist for all titles (e.g. Prometheus wasn't released with one). Which others don't have slipcovers?

I know this will only interest a small subset of members here but here goes:

(Please help with corrections/additions and I'll update this post).

The initial run of Beyond had slipcovers (I have one.)

EDIT: In The Heart of the Sea had a slipcover as well.

Risen came with a slip... I have it.

Shallows came with a slip... didn't get it when I ordered through Amazon and it was one of the few titles that really bugged me that it came without

I have The Magnificent Seven in a 4k Steelbook from Best Buy but I've never seen that title in any store with a slip cover...

Bad Santa 2. In the U.S. at least (I think Canada might have gotten theirs with slips).

That's Sony for ya. If you don't walk into a brick and mortar on the release date and pick up a copy with a slipcover, you're at risk of never getting one.

You can add THE MAZE RUNNER’s sequel, THE SCORCH TRIALS, to this list, but yeah, drop THE SHALLOWS—the first printing had arguably the best slipcover of any UHD.

I don’t believe that The Smurfs 2 has a slipcover. As far as I know, it comes with a j-card like other early Sony releases.
