Have done a thread search and can't find an existing discussion thread in the TV Shows sub-forum for the nineties/noughties series Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction.
Late last week, when doing a web search for the series (been hoping for a physical media release of the series for some time (James Brolin hosted the first season, then Jonathan Frakes hosted Seasons 2-4), I was shocked (in a good way) to see something that had gone under the radar: a fifth season of the show has been made (have checked the IMDb and Wikipedia) with Frakes returning as the host. Hopefully, this new season makes it's way to US and UK television screens (along with a physical media release of all of the seasons). I watched the first four seasons a few years ago when the series was repeated on UK TV (very much enjoyed the seasons when Jonathan Frakes was the host (especially the second and third seasons (he had a mischievous look in his face when speaking after each segment). |

I remember watching this show when it originally aired. Hadn't thought about it in a while, but it was good stuff. It looks like a good amount of the episodes are on youtube, I am not sure if they are on a streaming service as well.
You are right about Frakes as host, he was a natural at it ![]() |

Not 100% but I think the segments/stories in the fourth season were filmed in Canada.
As it's been a few years since I watched Seasons 1 to 4 for the first time, my mind is a bit rusty on the familiar faces who appeared in the segments. But I do remember Lauren Lee Smith being in one segment set in a graveyard. One of the other things I liked about the show was that interactive element where you tried to guess which stories were true and which were false. |
