Wink There are 2 kinds of streaming services...

The ones who put up any wretched ploy to make you skip the end credits of the movie.

The ones who don't.

The former belong to our corporate overlords.

The latter are boutique services with a modicum of decency.

Anyway, my point is not that at all. My point is that we're living in true embarrassment of riches. When every day it seems a new boutique label starts its own niche streaming service, running the gamut from VCI from KINO, when you stumble upon a thing called ScreenPix that for 3 (THREE) bucks a month lets you see hundreds of movies, it means it's arrived.

The golden age of streaming is upon us.

I have zero tolerance for end credits being interrupted. First time I saw “Mysterious Skin” the intense ending was ruined by pictures of unrelated movies appearing before the first credit even appeared.

The golden age of streaming is on the high seas, where nothing like that ever happens.

I actually like this for tv shows but movies it’s highly annoying. Especially if a movie has a post credit scene.

Angry Et tu, ScreenPix?

Funny, I posted this one out of my enthusiasm after discovering ScreenPix , which on top of being so cheap, it respected the end credits to the very end.

Now, since a few days back they have started the typical ploy to minimize the screen to one corner and promote a different movie. Fückers.

Am I NOT the only one who watches the end credits? Feel seen and heard.

Criterion Channel and Kanopy are the winners for me: no disruptions in the movies whatsoever. Every other streaming service can suck it.
