Did anyone see this movie?
I was thinking of getting it this week as a blind buy, is it worth it?
Im already planning on getting NCFOM, ID4, Irobot, and maybe dogma.

Very good movie--just watched it on VOD from Netflix. If you like sci-fi drama, you will like this. Brings up a lot of interesting points about the future. Lot of reviews said the Blu-ray was a pretty good transfer, too.

Second that.

I was a fan of this movie when I first caught in on Cable years ago. Great performances by Jude Law and Uma Thurman. It brings up some really thought provoking questions about Genetic engineering (hence, the name) as well as prejudice.

I highly recommend.

This one is also a favorite of mine, and I'm picking it up for sure in-store (can't wait for shipping). But like was mentioned above, it's a sci-fi drama so don't expect an action flick. Just thought I'd mention that since you have ID4 and I, Robot on your to-buy list.

I first saw this film in Bio class. It's an interesting film with a nice attention to detail. It's worth a blind buy. Futuristic drama/thriller with great acting.

I remember being so excited to go see this in November of '97, the same week Starship Troopers came out. After I saw both, I was very dissappointed. It would be a risky blind-buy.

Wrong. Gattaca is excellent. However Starship Troopers sucked.

I saw it in theaters, bought it on DVD (watched it probably 10 times), and have already ordered it on BD. Great SciFi/Future movie.

its a great movie, definitely worth it for a 'thinker' film so to speak.

the storyline is/was different, and it shows quite a number of questions that can be a great source of topics.

again, a great buy.

I saw this movie on VHS when it first came out, loved it!

I haven't seen it since then, so am very much looking forward to receiving my pre-order

I think it's an awesome movie so it shouldn't disappoint. I read that the PQ is outstanding so this should be really fun to watch on BD.

This is a great movie which introduces some interesting ideas on the future and the persuit of perfection. I would definitely recommend at least a rental for I don't see it having a lot of re-play value.

Bought it Yesterday, looks pretty good, some film grain here and there, but overall I'm pretty satisfied with the result. AQ is solid, good buy
