Hi,
I upgraded Big Sur (MacOS) today on my M1 Mac mini and now in the ATV app there is a 4K section that I don't remember seeing before. Seems it's possible to watch 4K content from iTunes on MacOS now. (Intel Macs still limited to 1080p.) (or maybe this is old news) Edit - This didn't work for my projector but my monitor is recognized as HDR and seems able to stream iTunes 4K content now. Edit according to support page the M1 based Mac mini should output 4K from iTunes content Seems 1080p limitation is only for intel based desktops. Last edited by bhampton; 02-10-2021 at 12:37 PM. |

I did set my Mac Mini up on a desk and paired it with a 4K monitor so this was a pleasant surprise after the most recent update. |
