This is pretty much where I am as well. I would have preferred a painting of Belle and Beast ala Little Mermaid (and well that would have made more sense then LM anyway since Paige voices Belle) but this isnt bad, so I'll end up getting it.

I like it but will wait to see if Best Buy drops the price down. I luckily didn’t pick up any of the marvel or Pixar steels till the b2g1 sale I feel bad for anyone who bought most of them thinking they were gonna sell out for them to just drop like crazy and still be readily avail to this day. I did get all 3 Captain America’s though now that I remember but thank god just those 3

Why is it empty? Where are your discs?
TBH I never liked the Diamond Edition artwork - the characters are off model and it doesn't even seem like Belle is looking at the Beast. I find the new one much prettier and more representative of the film.

Yeah, also falling in the don't hate it, don't love it camp but will be picking it up because I am a sucker for Disney steels. I also have the original Best Buy release which I got a good deal on within the last six months or so, great condition too.

That was a preorder special many years ago. If you preordered the BD you got an empty metal case.
Disney did it for a few of their titles, but since they were steelbook offshoots, Scanavo slapped them with a cease & desist. The rest is history.
