Default Unforgiven(1992) -VS- Tombstone(1993)

-One gets 4 Oscar wins
-Another is a text book in how to make a classic, swashbuckling western not titled Wyatt Earp(1994).

-One aging actor finally gets his first Best Actor Oscar Nomanation.
-Another young actor is daylight robbed of guaranteed Oscar win and deliberately ignored of even nomination.

-One is universally considered greatest western ever made!
-Another is built on one terrific scene after another topped off with iconic performance for the ages and an iconic scene for the ages.

-One has 3 great actors doing heavy lifting.
-Another has 3 iconic actors of different sort full of chemistry (yes!. Sam Elliot is a legend mind you all)

which one you got? why?

TOMBSTONE

After much thinking. Its Val Kilmer's Doc Holliday that makes it such a special movie.
Its one of a kind and will never be imitated again.

While I do enjoy Unforgiven I like Tombstone a little bit more. And I also enjoyed Wyatt Earp as well.

Unforgiven is directed by Clint Eastwood, which is one of his better directed movies and is much better than Tombstone. It's certainly better directed than any Nolan movie.

Unforgiven but by a small margin, as I love both films.
