How so?

Just because they don't have the huge Hollywood budget or what?

Insidious was made for 1.5 mil and looks 10x better than this and the budget is 8 million

I just did not like the trailer either and hate Nick Frost

Come on, support British films, they get a tough break man You look into the money side of it and you see how hard it is for a British film to become half way something in this business.

I'm going to try and check it out on Wednesday!

Hopefully the accents of the chav's won't grate on my nerves too much.

Agreed.

You can't be very proud of your own country and/or nationality if you don't like British films, especially when they're such a niche market.

I too will probably see it on Wednesday, after I finish college, probably around 2:00pm.

Have you seen th RT rating: 92%.

And what's wrong with it being a cross between two movies.

And to compare it to Battle Los Angeles is a disgrace when it's been extremely well recieved, and BLA hasn't.

Sorry, but the whole movie itself is meant to be a comedic take on an alien invasion, it's not meant to be a serious movie.

I really can't see how this is "just shawn of the dead with aliens" looking at the trailer.

"the way they arrive is ripped right from BL", that's how alien invasions in movie's have almost always looked, so what's your point?

You've seriously read way too much into this and you can judge for yourself, but if you watch it with this kind of view then you won't like it.

How can they Rip off Battle LA when the films where released months away from each other.

Reviews are positive, usually meaning the film has a good chance of being good as well. I trust reviews over trailers most days, only if I like the look of a film I'll check it out regardless.

It's not so much to do with hating Nick Frost or the way the kids speak, it's the fact that you said you don't like British films, and that was my point.
