Is that true? I wonder if the other sequels will be coming to 4K, Lionsgate should be able to release all the Saw movies on 4K Blu-ray in the US and UK as well.

That's the news I've been waiting for, ever since "Spiral" was announced.

I only have one Metropolitan disc (GREEN BOOK's Steelbook), but all the credits are in French and there are no English subs, so I'm gonna hold off and hope some other studio releases this outside of France.

Lionsgate is the house that Saw built. I'm sure it will get a US release.

But there’s a 50/50 chance there that we’ll only get the R-rated theatrical release, versus the Unrated Director’s Cut. Probably not going to be an issue, but it’s a legitimate concern.

Don’t Metropolitan historically do forced subtitles?

Finally! Fingers crossed it'll carry over all the 2-disc dvd bonus features too (and both cuts) to make a definitive release. I'm not sure about the non-American releases, but all the U.S. blu-rays have never carried the bonus features over.

Metropolitan had probably the best overall boxset for these movies and the quality was great very early on and the longer cuts so I have confidence they want to continue the tradition.

Surely it would be the unrated cut, that's pretty much been the default in the US ever since the DVD days. I mean, it's only a couple of seconds difference anyway, far less than what was cut from some of the sequels.

Lionsgate released the unrated cut twice on BD and the theatrical once, so there’s precedent both ways.

Not on GREEN BOOK they didn’t. No idea about any of their other releases.

This is one of the best news 4K's for horror in awhile!! I already have the (red) 10th anniversary German Blu-ray steelbook, now I can add this one to the collection!! Excited to say the least.

True, and it's about 50/50 for outside the US. Either way, the old BD is downright horrible so I expect a massive upgrade, one to rival American Psycho. Just hope like hell it's not another bloody filmout

Been waiting for this one. I knew it had to come eventually. Might hold off for a US release though.
