YOUTH IN REVOLT

Why is there no thread for this movie?
I am a huge fan of the book and this film did the book justice. 10/10
This film was absolutely hilarious and it had smart humor!!!
It is easily one of the most underrated films of 2010 and probably one of the most underrated films ever.
It got great reviews from critics and the people who saw it,
yet the film only made about $300,000 more than it's budget in theaters.
When I saw it in theaters in January opening day I was one of about 10 people in a large theater,
but believe me, everyone in the theater loved it and was laughing nonstop throughout the film.
Beginning to end nonstop hilarity.
Absolutely worth a blind buy.
Easily my favorite Michael Cera performance to date.
Seriously buy this. I bought my copy today.
You will not regret this purchase.

I agree totally. This movie was definately underrated and that's probably The Weinstein Company's fault for not being able to successfully promote a single film they've ever released. I do feel Michael Cera is wearing out his welcome in Hollywood too, playing practically the same character in every movie since Superbad.

Hopefully it finds its footing on DVD & Blu-ray. With it being priced at only $19.96 at Wal-Mart for either the DVD or Blu, it's not to be missed!

This is why I wont see anything he's done. Its to bad cause I want to see Scott Pilgrim vs. the World but that's mostly cause of Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

I have to agree as well. I really like his movies (Superbad, Juno, Nick and Norah) but there is a general feeling of I've seen this before. With that said I bought this first day but have not watched it yet.

Watched it last night and was not impressed. I am convinced that Michael Cera is truly a wimpy nerd in reality because that's all he ever plays.

I saw this last night and found it to be enjoyable. This isn't a laugh-out-loud comedy like SuperBad, but I found enough humor to entertain. I loved the cameos of Ray Liotta and Fred Willard!

I was also quite impressed with the PQ! Contrast was spot on and there was plenty of fine-detail on display. Recommend a rental at the very least!

Despite Cera playing himself and a slightly tougher version of himself in this, I thought it was decent enough.

I watched this at the theatre a while back, thought it was decent enough, but it didn't really feel very memorable, and it was very "this is really quirky and hipster-ish lets use it" instead of stuff that works with the story, but it way worth a rent and has enough laughs to keep you occupied

Really? That's so random. But at least gives me hope that they could release so many other titles that need a blu.

It's part of a Dimension Films / TWC wave that Lionsgate are putting out since they own the rights to those films now. Others in the wave include The Road, and A Single Man (maybe more too).
