Very cool and BIG upgrade for sure! I'm completely spoiled with 60fps now. I've played through this game on the PS4 Pro at 30fps, but I'm very tempted to run through it again on PS5 for the 60fps upgrade which is huge.

I downloaded the free PS4 game from PSN of Ratchet & Clank based on the movie, and it's not bad so far on the first level, but hearing it'll get 60 fps and 4K sounds good. Thanks. I'll wait to finish playing it after that.

Update is out now! I guess it was ready & Sony gave them permission to send it earlier than previously announced.

While im happy this got the 60 fps on ps5 treatment,it just makes it beyond silly horizon zero dawn and last of us 2 havent gotten this on ps5 yet.

I'd imagine there's probably bigger plans for those games, similar to the FF7 Remake. It's the only logical explanation. Ratchet & Clank is excellent though. Happy for those who get to play it at 60 frames.

Oh, so just 60 fps. Thanks. I'm so used to developers with their combo of 60 fps 4K so often. So only 60 fps, but the game still looks pretty good.

EDIT: IGN is saying it's 60 fps and 4K according to this video.

Great update, just kinda wish we got a PS5 version with a new trophy set to earn. Seems unlikely we will at this point.

Digital Foundry do their analysis thing. Also the game is at 1440p, rather than 4K. Still looks great on a 4K screen, preferably OLED

Being completely honest here, 1440p, 1800p, etc. I cannot tell the difference. I really can't. Maybe it's because my OLED does such a great job at upscaling. Maybe it's because I'm going blind at my middle age. But I never see a monumental difference between any of these north of 1080p resolutions.

It’s my new gripe with people.

1800p/60 is basically perfect on any 4K display.

What gets me is some people who have a 4K/120 HDMI 2.1 TV think when they switch to that Output either on PS5 or SX, all their games are now 4K/120.
