I was one of the lucky few to pick up the French version of this for the handsome price of 1p from Amazon a few months back (plus 1.26 postage). Pretty enjoyable film, and Goldblum is always terrific to watch.

Very odd film, this... I don't think it quite works. It has an uneasy blend between broad comedy and surprisingly brutal violence. It was like Landis was trying to out do American Wearwolf in London, but he got too carried away and ended up going off track. It's worth seeing for the great cast, though.

Is that Landis in the trailer shooting the door?

Never heard of this. Cast is top draw, will investigate and can see a blind buy on the horizon.

Right, read IMDb and a couple of reviews. Preordering this, sounds great. I have a movie on DVD called The Night Before, with Keanu Reeves, which is a guilty pleasure and this sounds very similar. Also see Bruce McGill down the cast list and I've not seen a movie with him in (however brief an appearance) that I've not enjoyed.

I really love this movie and I never thought this would be released on Blu-ray.

And it is a very odd flim - less like one coherent movie, more like scenes from many different movies tied together into one script. Like that completely goofy group of killers who first do a Laurel and Hardy routine and then brutally murder several people. And you have David Bowie. And Michelle Pfeiffer smuggling a bag of emeralds in her... Well, in a very safe place.

I got one of the bargain amazon French copies, it's a really weird film (that I'd never heard of) and certainly enjoyable for less than £2 but I don't know if I'd ever watch it again.

If this has worthwhile special features, I'd consider importing it, or waiting for a US release.

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, but it probably has more to do with Goldblum and Pfeiffer than the actual film itself.

I do seem to remember thinking it didn't know whether it wanted to be a fun screwball comedy or a serious thriller, but it has its moments.

Man, we surely need some hot Pfeiffer on Blu-ray!

Into the Night is like fruit punch, everything's thrown in to make it interesting.

... and it doesn't disappointed!

I like the sudden switches in tone between comedy and brutal violence. There are an insane number of cameos, of which David Bowie is the standout and there's BB King. Already have the French edition so probably no need to buy this. Goes really well with After Hours, which needs a blu

After Hours came to mind also, very similar visually but another film that is similar tonally is Something Wild.

Just looked this up on Amazon, it's being released by 101 Films. No extras, no subtitles, no point!

I watched this for the first time tonight. I wasn't familiar with it, but I really enjoyed it

I did notice an error with the disc. After the end credits, there is a gap, and then it starts playing the first minute again without sound, before it ends

It doesn't affect the film itself, but it does seem a bit amateurish

101 Films are the definition of amateurish, sadly.

I know, but they put out films I'm interested in, so I buy them

Watched this tonight, I do love this film. I did wonder about the 117 min run time for the BD, but 101 films just included the first few minutes of the movie starting again.... still glad to have this on blu, one of those great movies from the likes of Landis/Dante that are great to watch in the early hours... Pfeiffer was so hot in this

...and there is Miracle Mile, with a nuclear twist.

Into the Night is OK, but I thought it was the least of these types of films.

Does this disc use the new 4K transfer or is it the same as the lousy French disc?
