I seen this picture for the last time about 20 years ago on TV.
I hope it will also come to the European shores if it's no region free.

It's been out in France, Spain & Germany for a few years now.

I've got the French edition, Nice quality too.

Good movie, but hardly one of my favorites. Will maybe pick up for $5 or $10 during an U&S if I can.

Awesome news. It's always great to see some of the best of the 70's crime thrillers come to blu. Be nice if Fox will take notice and release the off-shoot of the French Connection - The Seven-Ups!

Great news. Now hopefully Warner will release Lumet's superior Prince of the City in 2014.

The French/European blu ray still looks solid. If this Warner release is anything like Paramount soft masters for their other 70s releases like Escape From Alcatraz and Marathon Man, it might still fall short. I hope it's a new master though, preferrably one of the 4K variety.
