Thumbs up

I'm so overjoyed here! Gary Gerani is doing new commentaries on my top favorite Night Gallery episodes from the second season. Having Louise Sorel on the commentary track for "Pickman's Model" (my favorite NG story adaptation) is the proverbial icing on the cake for this set.

I would be in for it, but the skimpy number of commentaries has me turned off.

Was just about to pre-order this but it would cost me more than twice as much as Season One did.

Does anyone know if the slipcover for these are limited or forever. I recall them saying some releases (I think it was Touch of Evil for example) will always have a slip. I ask because I cannot do 100 bucks for this set, but also don't wanna miss out of the slip.

I'm glad the length of time between the Blu-ray releases is not as bad as the DVDs! Those who also have the DVDs remember the years that went by before we got either S2 or S3.

Kino has released a lot of my favourite '70s genre TV shows and TV movies and I'm trying to catch up--I cannot wait to own Night Gallery in HD. (I was content with the DVDs, as I didn't think it was a series that would get Blu-ray treatment.) Here's hoping sales are good and Kino can acquire other short-lived anthologies like Amazing Stories, Thriller, and Darkroom.

Still need to pick up the first set. Will probably get both once this one is out.

Season 2 brings you about triple the amount of episodes than season 1 had. It's definitely worth it for all of the content

It looks like a pretty good package to me. The best episodes of the series were featured in Season 2, so I can say that I'm definitely looking forward to picking up this set in July.

Sounds about right to me. The 2K remastering and extensive extras add to the cost. If it’s not for you, there’s the old DVD set with all 3 seasons that can be had for $20.

I expect I'll likely order from there as well; if nothing else, the site indicates it'll probably ship a bit early.

It will be nice having it ready to go for my annual Horror Fest (which I usually start in August).

Will hopefully be pre-ordering Season 2 from either Deep Discount or Amazon.com (more likely the former (my copy of the first season, ordered from DD, arrived with a short crease on the front cover of the slipcover. Nothing major really).

Ahhhhh... The lovely "Rayna" from the Star Trek TOS episode "Requiem for Methuselah"... Blonde or brunette - I'd know those EYES anywhere!
