Honestly it looks fantastic. These 70s/80s films are quickly becoming my favorite 4K releases. Jaws, Close Encounters, Robocop, Alien, Blade Runner, Apocalypse Now, Beetlejuice, The Goonies, Gremlins, Home Alone, etc.. all look amazing.

Yeah, native 4k+ scans will always look better than movies up-converted from a 2k DI (pretty much anything made from about 2000 until just recently it seems, maybe even earlier).

I'll UHD discs for 70s/80s and maybe some 90s films for that reason, they will just look spectacular. Would be nice if they would always at least do a simple HDR... DV preferred, but just anything is an improvement.

Great to hear. I don't have an Apple TV and Robocop is one of my favourite films so I just wanted to hear some opinions on it and draw attention to the fact that it's up on iTunes.

I'm sure it's just a matter of time before it gets upgraded with HDR or DV. I'm hoping Wall Street does as well.

I have no way of doing that properly, If you are curious just wait until it hits $4.99 to pick up, thats what I did on itunes. I havn't done a side by side of Arrows vs the 4K but I have seen the movie enough to notice the 4K looks pretty sharp. Just my 2cents.

The Arrow disc was even sharper than the MGM disc, which itself was no slouch.

There's not likely to be an HDR grade until such time that MGM get around to it or an indie does it themselves. Same dealio with TGTBATU.
