Sweet! This is at the top of my must have list. I will be holding off until this one comes out. I hope it gets a better transfer too!

I hope this is a new edition with the DVD extras included. If it's just a re-issue of the previous disc...

Kevin Smith movies tend to have extremely entertaining extras, sometimes even better than the movie itself. I was so disappointed that the J&SBSB blu was barebones. The only reason I even own it is because it came in the box set with Clerks and Chasing Amy. I'd definitely double dip for the extras.

If it is exactly the same, then why the pre-order status? Why would Amazon have a different listing, if it is the same?

Because a different studio now has the distribution rights to it. Same thing with Adventureland. Disney originally released it, now Lionsgate has the rights, and they are releasing it on May 3 - same day as JASBSB.

Lionsgate acquired the rights to this film and some other Miramax films earlier this year, so they are just re-releasing these films under their own studio name. The discs should be identical.

On my Xbox when I turn on subtitles, it shows me what language I select and how many subtitles there are. It shows me [English 1/4]. Does that mean there are 3 hidden subtitles?

I believe this single edition has been out of print for a while. Given the price I'm assuming this is still a single disc release that is missing the special features.

It's a Miramax title so it's likely Paramount rereleasing this. I already have the original BD but it's good for those that don't yet to not have to pay OOP prices.
