Of the ones I’ve seen. New York, New York. I just never feel like the elements come together into a cohesive and entertaining movie. It did give us the song, Theme From New York, New York, which is a great song, so there’s that!

All of them except for Wolf of Wall Street. Out of those, The Aviator gets the vote.

Pretty much any crime drama after Goodfellas.

Cape Fear felt like Marty attempting to make a popcorn movie. I later found out that the ONLY reason he made it was for the studio in exchange for his passion project, The Last Temptation of Christ, to get made. Cape Fear is still decent, but it just felt like a regular movie. You didn't need Marty to direct it. Also I hear the original is better anyway.

I like The Wolf of Wall Street. I know people criticize it for being so over the top, but that's the point. The characters faces consequences for their actions.

Cape Fear is a great thriller and far superior to the original.

My vote would be for The Departed. How that won Best Picture is beyond me when it's not even the best version of that story!

I'll be honest, as a huge Marty fan, Shutter Island is one of the very little few I've seen from him. Mainly because some IDIOT hated it so much that he decided to spoil the twist for me. -_-
I'll watch it eventually, though.

Did they do it by constantly dropping winks, hints, and gifs?

Where's The Color of Money? Even Ebert and Scorsese himself said that's his weakest.
