OOP Blu-ray thread - Germany

This is already a section on the US, UK, Australian sections, so I figured I should start this to list some German releases I've noticed that appear to be OOP.



4k UHD:



Sometimes used copies appear from Medimops/Momox though.

Not including limited edition mediabooks/steelbooks etc. That said, Camera Obscura, Wicked Vision, Explosive Media, Koch do have notable mediabook titles that are OOP, and do not have a standard version available, or drop a bonus disc.

Many Arthaus/StudioCanal releases of Miramax titles, and Fox releases, are likely among those OOP.

Bluray-disc.de has a thread on this topic but unfortunately the images at the beginning of the thread no longer display.

On the other hand, many titles that are OOP in other territories are still in print in Germany.

I picked up the edition from France. I believe it's the same transfer as the KINO and German one, has no burnt-in subs and actually includes the trailer and maybe another extra or two. Plus you get the same awesome Bob Peak poster art on the cover.

I hated the movie when it opened, but have since come around on it. Penn is one of my favorite directors and while this is far from his best, it has lots of interesting things going for it.

Also, Sony are reportedly thinning their catalogue to 500 titles, so many titles could be at risk of going OOP.

Perhaps they’re blocking UK buyers but Blood Quantum seems quite expensive, and Ford Fairlane is dashed out.

I got the Zulu steelbook lately for 7€, Four Rooms for 3€, Volcano lenticular edition for 11€ (all of them new and sealed).
I did not even know that they were OOP!

Talking about Sleepy Hollow, I have the initial release that comes with DTS-HD High Res 5.1 (German and English), whereas the Mediabook release from 2020 only features German Dolby Digital 5.1 which is ridiculous (English DTS-HD 5.1).

They might not necessarily be OOP, I have been wrong in the past. I just base it off Amazon and retailers.
