Default Clint Eastwood, the movie star, the director, the legend!

I wanted to start a discussion on this living legend.

I truly cannot think of another Hollywood celebrity, actor/director who has achieved as much as this man has. With a body of work, ranging from Oscar winning directed movies to some of the most iconic screen characters ever created - he is quite simply the greatest movie legend ever!

I cannot think of another movie star who has achieved so much.

Haha! Me, too! Whew!!!

No, I LOVE the guy.

Yes, he is truly a legend.

Most of his contemporaries are gone or even long gone. He is one of the last of the old Hollywood classic stars.

I'm looking forward to "Cry Macho", his latest film, later this year.

I just watched Escape from Alcatraz last night. A great movie and role for Mr. Eastwood.

I've never been a big fan, although he has certainly starred in/directed some good films. In the Line of Fire was always my favorite movie he starred in, and my favorite directorial effort of his is A Perfect World.

Please don't make a thread with titles like this. You almost made me cry.

Can't apologize enough guys. If I could change the thread title I would.

At least I mentioned him as a living legend!

Lol, well I didn't get the impression that he died... but reactions are still funny. Yeah, I love Eastwood. The fact that even at 90 he is still belting out movies is amazing. He's the only guy I'd watch a western in, never cared for John Wayne.

I too will be a blubbering mess when he passes... yet it seems odd to feel devastated since he lived a long fruitful life leaving behind a vast legacy. He'll be celebrated for certain... Scott Eastwood needs to step up his game, carry on the quality of his father.

He's Clint Eastwood's son. Just like Patrick Wayne was John Wayne's son or Nancy Sinatra was Frank Sinatra's daughter.

Shoes too big to fill.

I know a Clint Eastwood movie that deserves a 4K restoration, and I'm sure everyone on this thread agrees with me: DIRTY HARRY (1971).
