I'm getting confused on how many releases this is getting...

there's a regular steelbook 4k edition I saw on Target's website that I'm assuming is available everywhere?

Then a Best Buy exclusive with better cover art.

Now this one as well?

I hope Target just has the art switched. It’s the one I preordered for $18.99 with my Redcard as payment. Supposed to be a wide release, not BBY exclusive.

I'd like the steelbook but don't have a desire for the accompanying material or any interest in paying for it.

Any chance of getting the steelbook on its own in the UK, does anyone think?

EDIT: Never mind. UK steel doesn't appear to have the film's title logo on the front, whereas I believe the US release does. In which case, either way it's a pass.

Had to order it; now, if i can get Zavi and Spielberg to do an 4k edition like this for 1941, i'll be giddy.

Yes, that'd be very tasty! The war set pieces, the dance contest, Belushi flying over LA, the Ferris Wheel sets, it would all be great in 4K UHD. The superior contrast would be fantastic!

Love it. I prefer this one that does not have the title on the cover of the steel. Even though its the same image as the BB one.

I don't like it when they use that thin cardboard for the outer boxes. While I received The Sting OK, Animal House was crushed in the corners and so I've had to order another one and will send the damaged one back

They used the same for Blues Brothers, Jaws (although mine got lost in the post) and presumably will use it for Smokey And The Bandit

My first one was crushed in the corners and I have ordered a replacement and it was fine. The Sting was OK, but I do feel with these Universal 4K releases, future ones could suffer the same damage. I don't know why they couldn't go with a harder outer box, even if it added £2-3 to the price

My Blues Brothers from a few months back wasn't perfect, although it wasn't too bad. Thin cardboard is fine on a slipcover not a box
