Untitled Sci-fi FPS Game (From Alien: Isolation Developer)

The makers of Alien: Isolation are developing a new sci-fi FPS game in an all-new setting. Arguably the best Alien game in recent memory came from developer Creative Assembly. Made up of four different studios, Creative Assembly is best known for its Total War series, which stretches back to 2000, and the team is also responsible for 2017’s Halo Wars 2. Despite those strong strategy game roots, Creative Assembly is prepared to dive back into the sci-fi FPS genre.

According to a listing on GamesIndustry.biz, a new game from Creative Assembly will be an all-new sci-fi FPS IP. The same team that developed Alien: Isolation is developing the game, but how far into development the game is, what platforms it will come to, or when it might release are currently unknown. Still, listings on Creative Assembly’s website state the game will be AAA in scope and have tactical gameplay.
