Default Hdmi ??

does the M series and the 1000 series monster hdmi are they the only ones that fully support 120 hz? i though u wouldnt notice a big difference in speed or pq with a 4-8 foot cable?

No, as long as the cable is certified for HDMI 1.3, it should be fine.
If you are only going a few feet, cable like these Series 1 are very good.

any HDMI certified cable shorter than 20 metres will carry multi-channel audio and 24-bit colour 1080p video signals without any problem.

The conversion to 120 Hz (120 fps) is done inside the display. I don't know of a display on the market that accepts a 120Hz input or a transport that send such a signal. Most certainly buzzword marketing by Monster. Find a manufacturer that has a certification for the cable distance you wish to purchase and go with that. Most here endorse blue jeans cable and monoprice based on experience.
