Default Dolby vision problem

Been having issues with dolby vision on my TCL 6 series since always and no one has been able to give me an answer that makes any sense.
It turns certain parts of the darks red and I dont know why, its not anything that can be colour corrected out because I tried the 11 pt white balance and played around with the red levels in the blacks to no avail (I can reduce some of it, sort of, but not all). Its definitely the tv itself as DV content on itunes also plays the same way.
I've attached cellphone pictures below as its all I can do, but it shows it pretty well.
