Artcrafts will be releasing John Hsu’s hit Taiwanese horror film Detention on bluray next month.

Love love love this movie and I think I have had the Taiwanese copy for about a year or more. I am a huge fan of the original game so this was a blind buy for me.

It stays very loyal to the source material in terms of narrative but isn't as scary. I think it is just a well made drama covering some dark topics.

I own the Hong Kong BD. Great and unusual horror - but then I didn't play the game.
