I think you accidentally linked to the Daniel Craig Bond set instead of Collateral.

I would get Cocktail on 4K in a heartbeat.
God knows we need a decent release of the Color of Money too

They've been sitting on a 4K master of Minority Report for almost 15 years, just release it already

https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=3398

I also remembered how much I wanted Austinpussy to be a real movie

It's only hope is that there's something in the Disney/Sony deal that would give Sony some input into what gets released physically. So, probably no hope.

Unfortunately, this is probably the closest Cocktail is going to get to a physical release.

About a month ago I downloaded a 5.1 rip of Interview with the Vampire hoping that the music would be on a different track than all the other voices and sound effects.

Obviously my intent here was to remove Guns 'n' Roses and replace it with The Rolling Stones.

Sadly, it was not meant to be. I love IWTV but I detest Guns 'n' Roses.

I agree. WB skipping The Last Samurai for its 20th was absolutely brutal, and should be considered a crime against fans of physical media. And even if it wasn't ready last year, they could have timed it to release near the Shogun series that was recently on TV. Missed opportunity. Wasnt this an "evergreen" catalog title once upon a time in physical media?

I've given up 99% of my hope of ever seeing this, given they didn't do anything for its 20th and knowing how much WB loves anniversaries. The 1% of hope left is that maybe there's a chance they need Director or cast sign off on a release and they just hadn't been able to get it for the Anniversary. But when I ask "around"...nobody seems to know anything.

And thanks to the idiots at Microsoft, Toshiba, and WB circa 2005-2007...we are stuck with a VC-1 non-lossless sound version of this movie as "best available". What a joke. Yes, I'm bitter.

We had a brief exchange about Risky Business, which looks to be a real quality film. Cocktail... it looks... eh? Doesn't seem as terrible as its Razzie win suggests (I'm absolutely positive that happened because they predicted that Rain Man would win the Oscar and thought it would be hilarious), but it doesn't seem like something I'd necessarily revisit. I'll give it a chance, though, since my library has the DVD. Out of curiosity, what's your connection to that one?
