shukocarl Active Member Member since:Oct 2015 Location:UK	King Kong Lives (1986) Is there any love around this forum for the guilty pleasure (so bad, it's good) that is KING KONG LIVES? I'd love to see this on blu with a long documentary from all involved, it would fascinating to understand why this got made 10 years after the almost-reverential take that ended with Kong's death fall. Various put the budget between 10 and 18 million dollars and it only took 4 at the box-office. Also, who decided to go with the ludicrous tone the film had- and the inclusion of Lady Kong/lovey-dovey romantic scenes! This is begging for a good blu with the "warts n' all" story thrown in for good measure!
